Monongalia County Health Department is now offering nutritional counseling for community members.
Cami Haught and Jason Nguyen are both Registered Dietitian Nutritionists at Monongalia County Health Department, with extensive backgrounds in guiding individuals with a variety of conditions and issues to a healthy diet that suits their needs.
Medicaid or private insurance can be used, and there is also a sliding-scale fee for uninsured patients. Patients must have a physician referral.
Conditions that could benefit from this counseling include, but are not limited to:
- Weight management
- GI issues
- Diabetes
- Kidney issues
- Cardiovascular issues
- Chewing and swallowing difficulties
- Cancer
- Food allergies
- Sensory issues
